Fresh air, open space and a good walk. Living in North Yorkshire means some of the best countryside in England is right on the doorstep — and there is always a good pub at the end of a decent route.
Why I enjoy it
What matters most
Everything else on this site is something Brendan enjoys. Family time is something different — it is the reason the rest of it exists. North Yorkshire is the setting for all of it, and the best moments are rarely the planned ones. It is the evenings in, the walks with no real destination and the games that run on longer than anyone expected. The ordinary things that end up meaning the most.
